About
I definitely qualify as an F1 fanatic several times over. My bookshelves are literally bowed with the weight of books on every aspect of grand prix racing. Over the past 15 years, F1 has been my sport of choice and I’ve been obsessively committed to it - ask my wife, I’ve dragged her across the globe on my F1 quests. I even hijacked our honeymoon.
Two years ago I started a humble but very rewarding e-zine called Braketest (www.braketest.net) that evolved into an electronic magazine. As a one man show it was impressive and I’m very proud of it but it eventually exhausted me. Enter blogging.
This blog lets me continue to write on a more flexible schedule than the monthly periodical allowed which works for my “other life” - family and career. F1Undergound is my soapbox on the web where I can shake my fist at the power brokers of Formula 1 and remind them that there are fans in the stands who matter. F1 belongs to the fans no matter who owns what trademarks.
F1underground isn’t all negativity and protests though - it’s also a forum where the beauty and passion of grand prix racing can be celebrated.
Subscribe to my blog and I promise you will enjoy a unique “fan” perspective on Formula 1. Unlike other blogs, everything here is original content and backed up by rigorous research, intelligent analysis and years of following F1. Articles are posted three times a week - Monday Wednesday and Friday.
